logo type
The typeface Ivy Mode is refined for the logotype. The delicate contrasts and soft serifs are enhanced, and proportions are adjusted. Curvature is added as a subtle nod to nature, plant life, and the Art Noveau sentiments in Wright’s literary works.

typography system
Mabel’s typography system utilizes Ivy Mode as the primary typeface, lending the brand a naturalistic, soft, organic appeal. The secondary typeface, Mr Eaves XL mirrors the large x-heights of Ivy Mode while complimenting the detail of the primary face with a more geometric approach.
color palette
The color palette references the building’s brick materiality with a rich brick-colored anchor. A blue accent references the Eastern Bluebird, a local bird of New York.
